2025 Catalyst Annual Summit – Healthy Systems, Thriving Communities

On October 17 at the Westin Richmond, Catalyst will bring together more than 200 leaders, advocates, and innovators to explore solutions that advance health equity across the Commonwealth. This year’s theme, Healthy Systems, Thriving Communities, centers on actionable strategies to strengthen public health systems, improve access to care, and address the root causes of health disparities.
The Summit will feature thought-provoking keynotes, including Brian Koziol of the Virginia Housing Alliance on housing equity’s role in health, and VCU's Oral Histories team sharing oral histories that reveal how lived experiences can transform public health. Breakout sessions and panels will dive into critical topics such as water equity, Medicaid’s future, food as medicine and bridging health and justice through medical-legal partnerships.
This year's Summit will bring together public health professionals, policymakers, providers, and community leaders to enhance collaborations and inspire policy and systems change so that every Virginian can stay healthy and thrive.

Virginia Dental Association
The Virginia Dental Association is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at CCEPR.ADA.org.
The Virginia Dental Association designates this activity for 4.5 continuing education credits.

The 2025 Catalyst Annual Summit has been approved by the National Association of Social Workers – Virginia Chapter (NASW-VA) for 4.5 Category I Contact Hours for social workers. This program is offered in a synchronous format.
