About Robin

Robin Haldiman is the chief executive officer of the Child Health Investment Partnership (CHIP) of Roanoke Valley, which promotes child health care coordination, family support and mental health services for medically underserved children. Under Robin's supervision, CHIP of Roanoke Valley supports healthy homes for over 1,100 underserved children from five different localities.

Robin’s commitment to bringing success to all families independent of their income has been recognized with awards from both the Virginia Health Care Foundation and Premier Cares, honoring her for successful and innovative programs that help both underserved children and their families. In 2005, Robin also received Virginia Health Care Foundation’s Heroes in Health Care, Unsung Heroes Award for personally helping to establish a pediatric dental clinic in the Roanoke Valley.

Prior to her involvement with CHIP of Roanoke Valley, Robin served as the senior vice-president of Planned Parenthood of Blue Ridge for ten years. She also worked as the associate director of the Lewis-Gale Medical Foundation in Salem, Virginia.

Robin currently serves on Virginia Tech Carilion Medical School Community’s Leadership Board, was a past chair for the both Mission of Mercy (MOM) Project’s Executive Committee and the Community-Based Health Care Coalition and is the immediate past chair of the Virginia Health Catalyst's board of directors.

Robin earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mary Baldwin College and continues to develop academically and professionally with many research publications and educational courses.
