Dr. Lyubov Slashcheva, DDS, MS, FABSCD, DABDPH, FICD received her dental training at Virginia Commonwealth University and completed a Fellowship in Geriatric & Special Needs Dentistry and Residency in Dental Public Health at the University of Iowa. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health and a Fellow of the American Board of Special Care Dentistry. She practices clinical dentistry at a health center in Harrisonburg, Virginia and serves as Research Director for Apple Tree Dental, a Minnesota-based non-profit that is nationally-known for its clinical innovation and advocacy in helping to overcome barriers to oral health. As a clinician researcher, she is especially interested in advancing the oral health of older adults, adults with disabilities and other underserved populations.

With her partner and three children, she enjoys cycling, gardening, and cooking.
