Chloe Van Zandt serves as Virginia Health Catalyst's Grassroots Manager. In this role, she leads Catalyst's grassroots advocacy efforts of Catalyst's policy initiatives. This includes overseeing Catalyst's main legislative priority- a comprehensive adult dental benefit in Medicaid, ensuring a smooth benefit rollout and benefits maintenance. Chloe also oversees Catalyst's Water Equity Taskforce, a group committed to ensuring all Virginians have equitable access to affordable, clean, fluoridated water that they trust and is their drink of choice.
Before joining Virginia Health Catalyst, Chloe worked in higher education where she coordinated community organizing, partnering with local nonprofits to engage student activism in the community. She developed a passion for community organizing and grassroots impact when she served as Chair of the Education Committee on the board of the Human Rights Education Institute in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, an advocacy and education nonprofit. Chloe earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication from Boise State University in 2015. Outside of the office, Chloe enjoys traveling, rock climbing, and being actively involved in her community.
