Brita Bergland is Virginia Health Catalyst's Program Manager. In this role, she provides support and technical assistance to the Regional Oral Health Alliances and helps manage Catalyst's grant-funded activities.
Brita is a proud alumna of Penn State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health. After working for an oncology pharmaceutical company in Boston, MA for a few years, she moved to Atlanta, GA to attend Emory University for her Master of Public Health concentrating on behavioral science and health education. Prior to joining Catalyst, Brita worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta doing health communications for the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
Outside of the office, Brita can be found trying new foods, reading, running, and exploring the outdoors with friends and family.
